The older woman had two guns, one of which was in her robe, when she opened fire on Thomas in her Arizona home after a fight.
Anna Mae died in arm care in November awaiting trial.

Anna Mae Blessing shot her 72-year-old son Thomas in July after he and his girlfriend, Julie, had discussed placing her in a nursing home. She died in November, but it is shown that her photo was once detained in July
In a recently released confessional video, she is seen as she naps on the table and tells the police how tired she is while describing the murder.
& # 39; He came to me, so I fired the gun, & # 39; she said calmly, explaining that she then leaned over and checked his wrist.
& # 39; I took his pulse and there was no heartbeat so I knew I had killed him & she said.
When asked what she felt when she realized he was dead, she said: & # 39; I didn't feel like that. & # 39;
Julie, Thomas' girlfriend, then wrestled the weapon from her hands, but Anna Mae had another one that had been put into her robe's pocket.
She did not shoot her but waited while she called 911 to have the police come.
& # 39; I would shoot her, & # 39; she said in her confession video. It is not clear what changed her mind, but, Blessing said, she went to the bedroom, sat down on the chair, and waited for the police to come.
