Firewalk Studios officially announced Concord at the PlayStation Convention, the first AAA project from the newly formed development team.
Concord is a massively multiplayer online PvP game set in a science fiction universe. In addition to launching on PS5, the PlayStation Blog reports that Concord will also be released on PC, although it is not specified if both versions will be released simultaneously.
“The Firewalk team is driven by the kind of exciting, unexpected moments and shared experiences that team games create,” Ryan Ellis, the studio’s game director, wrote on the PlayStation Blog. “Every time you log into a game is the start of a new adventure, and every match is an opportunity for a new story. These ideals are that define the nature of Concord, its unique world, and rich cast of characters.”
It is reported that PlayStation announced its acquisition of Firewalk Studios earlier.
