New South Wales Liberal Gareth Ward was captured on CCTV in August last year on a 33-floor elevator at the Intercontinental in Manhattan with two black men with caps and white T-shirts.
The member for Kiama, on the south coast of the state, told the New York police that the men had tried to extort $ 1,000 from him after the visionary politician had asked them to leave his hotel room.
The images showed him during the lift times because he was walking to a concierge desk to warn the police of the blackmail attempt after the men had walked to an ATM with him.
Albino MP Gareth Ward (left at Premier Gladys Berejiklian) who called the number of an escort agency on the night he got blackmail, insisted he just wanted a massage
While that police report included a phone call from the MP to an escort service number, Mr. Ward said he had simply called that number for a massage.
& # 39; I had walked all day, visited places of interest, it was self financed & # 39 ;, the albino member of parliament told Wednesday to Daily Mail Australia.
& # 39; I have received massages in the past where I went, because that is what people will often do and there was nothing unpleasant about what I did. & # 39;
The parliamentary secretary, from the moderate party of the liberal party, said that the number he had called was related to various non-sexual services and insisted that he had not violated any laws in New York, where it is illegal to Ask for an escort.

Mr. Ward (left) argued that he had asked them to leave after he realized that the men (photo & # 39; s) did not offer a therapeutic massage.
& # 39; If I were to do something unseemly, I would not have called the police & # 39 ;, Ward said.
& # 39; From what I've collected, that number was linked to many websites, that's certainly not what I asked for. & # 39;

Mr. Ward said it was curious that The Daily Telegraph published a new version of a 16-month story on Tuesday when the Liberal Party was prepared to hold a preselection meeting to determine the next liberal candidate for the seat of Mrs. Sudmalis of Gilmore.
& # 39; Do you know what is happening tonight? The approval of Gilmore, "he said.
& # 39; This is a dubbing of a *** story and I'm not going to give it credibility by further commenting. & # 39;
The unmarried 37-year-old parliamentarian said he was glad he had reported the matter to the New York police, even though embarrassing aspects of the complaint had been made public.
"I reported the matter to the police and I'm glad I did that," he said.
& # 39; The police said it was a legitimate complaint and the case was closed. & # 39;
