Travelers are warned of long delays due to urgent track repairs in Sydney’s CBD.
Transport NSW issued the warning on Thursday morning, advising passengers to allow plenty of extra travel time on the rail network.
As a result of the work on the tracks between Circular Quay and St James, trains will travel in only one direction around City Circle.

Trains on lines T2, T3 and T8 suffer delays
Trains on the T2 Inner West and Leppington Line, T3 Bankstown Line and T8 Airport and South Line are experiencing delays as a result.
Transport NSW said some stop patterns and platforms may change at short notice.
Passengers on the T1 North Shore and Western and T9 Northern lines have also been advised to allow additional travel time due to a train with a mechanical problem at Central earlier.
Riders have been asked to listen for announcements and check information screens for service updates.
