Commonwealth Bank customers are venting their frustration on social media after being unable to access their accounts via the bank’s Netbank app.

People trying to use Netbank are confronted with a message saying the bank is ‘working to resolve an issue affecting our services’.

The message goes on to say: We are aware that some customers may be experiencing issues with some of our services right now. We are investigating this and apologize for the inconvenience.

It appears the app may have been down since around 8pm Tuesday night.

Website services are also affected.

It is not clear how widespread the outage is.
