A comedian actor claimed he was “violently assaulted” by a “diehard Trump supporter” outside a Dallas bar this weekend for mocking the former president.

Cutler posted early Sunday morning that he had been attacked at a bar in Dallas the night before, without initially mentioning politics.

“Tonight I was jumped outside a bar and physically assaulted in Dallas, Texas. More details to come…for the time being I have decided to stop making videos,” he wrote.

About an hour later, Cutler made a second post about the assault, again without mentioning Trump.

Finally, on Sunday afternoon, Cutler gave more details about the attack and finally mentioned the former president.

“Last night I was brutally assaulted by a die-hard Trump supporter in downtown Dallas, Texas, simply for making a joke he didn’t like,” he wrote.

He added: I have video evidence of this, but I have decided not to publish it at this time for fear of my own life.

However, he later responded to someone who asked if he would post the video of his assault and said, “Soon.”

Later on Sunday, Cutler made his first TikTok post since the assault, posing with fans at Sunday’s Dallas Cowboys game against the Detroit Lions at AT&T Stadium.
