Comedian Whitney Cummings trolled Democrats and CNN to host Anderson Cooper and co-host Andy Cohen during their annual New Year’s Eve blowout.
Cummings, a stand-up comic with several specials, TV series, films and a book to her name, seemed to deliver some hard-hitting jokes to “toast” 2024.
She started hitting out at Democrats for continuing to support Joe Biden well past his disaster in the Georgia debate.
“The Democrats couldn’t hold primaries this year. They were too busy holding up a body,” she said.
Cohen seemed visibly surprised by the crack in Biden, who only dropped out of the race at the end of July.
She went on to blast Democrats’ mandate to nominate Kamala Harris as their candidate, noting that “it was astonishing that the pro-choice party didn’t give their voters one.”
“Kamala was pushed on us so hard you’d think she was patented by Pfizer… or Moderna, whatever… oh God, Andy just gave me a really creepy look,” to which Cohen protested.
Cummings had barbs for CNN, allowing Cohen and Cooper to regularly celebrate the end of the year.

As she took her place on CNN’s stage, she joked about the weather and Cooper’s former co-host for the event.
‘Was that thunder? Are you sure? I thought it was Kathy Griffin yelling at you from the street? Are you sure? I think she’s swearing.’
“Well, no doubt,” replied the old announcer.
Griffin co-hosted with Cooper from 2007 to 2017 before she was fired following a controversial photo shoot in which the comic posed holding a fake severed head of Donald Trump.
She also made a shocking joke about UnitedHealthcare killer Luigi Mangione, noting that he shares a prison with disgraced mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, noting that the alleged killer “already has lower back problems.”
