Comancheros Bikie’s Jason Kemp was Hells Angel’s Dayne Brajkovich mystery house shooter

Date:

A motorcycle found floating face down in a luxury resort pool was the mysterious gunman who shot rival mobster Dane Brajkovic two years earlier.

Jason Kemp drowned at The Pearle of Cable Beach in Broome, Western Australia, on February 11th after a long life of crime.

Who fired the five or six shots at Holden Commodore Brajkovic in March 2021, while his wife and seven-year-old son were inside, has never been identified.

However, a source familiar with the investigation told Daily Mail Australia that Kemp was the operator of the brazen attack on the $1.5m castle.

Bullets were squirted into the back of the car as the mother and son were reversing down the driveway outside the home in Ascot, southeast Perth. No one is hurt.

The shooting came in response to Hell’s Angels Sergeant Brajkovic, 43, beating Rebels boss Nick Martin in a bar in November 2020.

The source said the horrific altercation in front of drinkers at Sandbar on Scarborough Beach was part of a dispute over the tattoo parlor’s territory.

Two weeks later, Martin was shot and killed by a highly paid hitman from about 300 meters away while watching from the stands of a drag racing event south of Perth.

Kemp was a member of the Rebels at the time of the Brajkovich home shooting, but switched to rival Comancheros in mid-2021 after he was brutally beaten by a Rebels member while in prison for unrelated crimes.

The source said Brajkovic and Kemp were “good buddies” until Kemp joined the Rebels, who sparred with Brajkovic’s Angels.

Kemp’s death was ruled not suspicious as the police ruled out foul play, and the investigation would be conducted by the coroner.

Brajkovich was fired from the Hell’s Angels early last year after a fight with other senior members sparked by his anger that the members were partying with rival clubs.

Since then, the tattooed ex-becky has focused heavily on his growing real estate portfolio, with two investment homes in addition to his own home.

His house is monitored with heavy security cameras and he has a large dog guarding it, along with the shutters that are always closed.

Jacob Peter Gorton was accused of stealing a black Porsche and a white Mercedes used in the shooting, which were found burned nearby.

He fled Western Australia to Queensland after the shooting, cut and dyed his hair, and shaved his beard, to alter his appearance, but was arrested and extradited.

Brajkovich is known for his tattoos that cover his entire body, some of which contradict controversial WA laws banning the display of bikini symbols in public.

He’s signed “Hell’s Angels” on his forehead and “1%er” on his neck—a common pesky identification that represents the percentage of motorcyclists who don’t abide by the law.

Washington State Police Commissioner Cole Blanche suggested at the time that riders should cover their tattoos or leave the state.

Discussing the law, he said: “I would certainly start with or remove things like bandages or make-up or alternatively people could choose the option of not living in Western Australia if this law was passed.”

After he was kicked out of the Hells Angels he threw away all the club clothes he had when none of his former brothers showed up to collect them.

His wife, Jacinta Hill, told the court in January that she applied make-up to his tattoos every day before he went to work.

He later tattooed the forehead ink with black bars and filled in diamonds that were surrounded by a 1%er sign.

However, he added a new one on his head that read “f**k police” and a swastika on his chin – which unlike the pixie symbols isn’t illegal in WA.

The maximum penalties for wearing the banned badges are 12 months in prison, a $12,000 fine for individuals, or up to $60,000 for companies.

Brykovic frequently appears in court dressed in the most casual attire possible to thumb the authorities, and always has a chunky $200,000 gold chain around his neck.

Most recently, he wore a T-shirt with three gold bars and the text “You keep the silver” last Monday, along with a hat covering his Hell’s Angels tattoo.

This was in reference to his entering the Perth Mint and buying 300 grams of gold, worth about $27,000, on June 13 last year.

He also wore gold rings with large letters.

Kemp was staying at a five-star resort near the popular tourist beach with his girlfriend when he was found dead.

He had an impressive criminal history, with over 700 entries listed under his name in court records.

His heavily tattooed body was dotted with emblems praising his connection to the underworld.

“One offense pays” is written on his forearm and “Respect a few, fear nothing” is written across his face in large black script.

Rab Kemp’s extensive paper includes crime pages including driving, drugs, assault, robbery, domestic violence, and gun possession.

In the past year alone, he has faced court 20 times for more than a dozen charges, including grabbing someone’s throat, possession of meth, marijuana, and prescription drugs.

Driving offenses included running red lights, riding a motorcycle without a helmet, using a fake number plate, and driving with drugs in his system.

He was jailed in 2017 for holding his ex-girlfriend and her mother at gunpoint in a four-hour siege with police outside.

“It’s really amazing that he’s been allowed in the community for so long,” said Prosecutor Jason Chu before his latest jail term.

Western Australian Police declined to comment on whether Kemp was a suspect in the shooting.
