A fierce war of words between two feminist authors has escalated after one bragged about talking to the other’s much younger ex-husband in an alleged attempt to dig up dirt, with some of her followers allegedly repeating a vile insult.

Famed blogger Clementine Ford, 43, has been locked in a feud with Antonella Gambotto-Burke since the Italian-Australian writer wrote a scathing review of her latest book in December last year.

Since then, both women have insulted each other: Ford labeled her London-based adversary a “Gamblotto-nobody,” while Gambotto-Burke dubbed Ford a “mullet Barbie.”

Gambotto-Burke, 58, has also been working on an investigation into Ford for The Australian newspaper, which is due to be published soon.

But the bitter couple’s brutal broadsides have never strayed beyond the realms of the print press or social media – until now.

Ford, who has gained notoriety in recent weeks for helping to expose the personal information of some 600 Jewish creatives, claimed in a cryptic message on Instagram that he had spoken to Gambotto-Burke’s ex-husband, Alex Burke, who allegedly has “a lot” . say’.

The couple married in 2005, when Gambotto-Burke was 39 and Mr. Burke was just 18.

They shared a daughter before divorcing under difficult circumstances 10 years later.

Gambotto-Burke claims she signed a gag order with Mr. Burke’s family, preventing her from discussing many aspects of their relationship.

The apparent escalation in the feud between Ford and Gambotto-Burke emerged after Ford responded to an Instagram account under the name ‘Kat Fogel.’

Ford and some of her followers have repeatedly accused ‘Kat Fogel’ of being a puppet account run by Gambotto-Burke.

Daily Mail Australia has spoken to the owner of the account and found that she is not Gambotto-Burke, but a Jewish housewife living in the south-east of Melbourne.

In response to a comment ‘Kat Fogel’ left under a photo of Ford, Ford said: ‘Hi AGB [Antonella Gambotto-Burke] – I hope to have your ex-husband in one of my Conversations with Men soon! I’m sure he has a lot to say.’

Conversations with Men, a panel discussion moderated by Ford, “invites five men to talk to the boys they used to be about the men they learned to become,” according to the event description.

Daily Mail Australia approached Ford to ask if he had actually spoken to Gambotto-Burke’s ex-husband.

Burke, through her attorney, declined to say whether she had spoken to Ford, but she is “working hard to overcome the pain she suffered in those years and in the years to come” since her marriage to Gambotto-Burke.

“He does not want to do anything that will cause further suffering and damage to his reputation and mental well-being, and that of his supportive family and friends, who have already suffered enough,” his lawyer said.

There is no suggestion that Burke spoke to Ford beyond his own public comments.

But Gambotto-Burke is convinced her ex-husband has contacted his archenemy because some of Ford’s supporters are now accusing her of a “very specific criminal insult” her husband allegedly directed at her during their bitter divorce proceedings.

Daily Mail Australia has chosen not to repeat the criminal charge.

Gambotto-Burke says she is seeking a gag order she signed after her marriage was annulled.

The author and journalist, who called Ford a “hypocrite of a putrid nature” whose “dominant characteristics are cruelty, hatred and revenge,” accused her ex-husband of “off-the-charts malice.”

‘By (allegedly) aligning himself with a woman identified as a digital terrorist, hate monger and anti-Semite to hurt me and damage my reputation, my ex-husband has left me no choice but to request that the gag order I chose be applied to me. sign revoked,” Gambotto-Burke told Daily Mail Australia.

‘Since I investigated Ford I have been receiving various threats related to a very serious lie that, curiously, my ex-husband had threatened me with.

“This lie has been spread by Clementine Ford’s malicious allies, whose reach on social media is terrifying.”

In an Instagram response to one of Antonella Gambotto-Burke’s posts, Clementine Ford mocked the author for “flaunting her boyfriend’s huge cock.”

The feud continued with Ford posting a clip of Gambotto-Burke singing and dancing with the caption: “And here she is in one of the most embarrassing things I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Gambotto-Burke heavily attacked Ford’s book I Don’t: The Case Against Marriage in an article for The Weekend Australian in mid-December last year.

He wrote that Ford “displays a deep, sustained and ugly rage against men, which he justifies as an appropriate reaction to misogyny…”

‘While there is no doubt that some of the points he makes in I Don’t Do It: The Case Against Marriage are accurate, the level of disgust he expresses towards men is beyond disturbing; it should be illegal.’

The two also exchanged repeated blows over their views on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

But the insults have also been of a more puerile nature, with Ford mocking the freelance writer and musician’s dance moves and Gambotto-Burke jokingly referring to his love for his own partner’s ‘huge c***’.
