The head of Colombian football was arrested this Sunday during the Copa América final.

Ramon Jesurun faces three felony charges of assault on a specific officer or employee.

The 71-year-old was admitted to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at about 4:15 a.m. Monday, hours after Colombia was defeated 1-0 by Argentina in the final.

Jesurun and his son, Ramon Jamil Jesurun, are accused of fighting with security guards near a tunnel where media had gathered at around 12:20 a.m. Monday.

Both are believed to have been “furious” and began “yelling” at a security guard.
