A minibus is believed to have overturned on a road northwest of Sydney and young children are among the injured.

The accident occurred on Saturday morning around 9am on Putty Rd in Colo Heights, an hour and 45 minute drive northwest of Sydney’s CBD.

Seven people are being treated at the scene by emergency services, including children between the ages of five and 13.

A 49-year-old man has a broken arm and a 13-year-old girl was treated for a shoulder laceration, New South Wales Police said. 7news.

A 40-year-old woman, three boys and a girl were taken to Westmead Hospital for assessment.
