Hunter is among the favorites to win the 2024 Heisman Trophy as he continues to shine for the Buffaloes as a wide receiver and cornerback.

The junior has spent the last two seasons playing with Deion Sanders in Boulder, building a reputation as one of the top talents in college football.

The 21-year-old is expected to join the NFL next year and hopes to remain in the Denver area.

“I wish I could go to the Broncos, just to stay in Colorado because so many people welcomed me with open arms,” ​​Hunter told the Kicking it with Dee podcast.

“I wish I could go to the Broncos, just to stay in Colorado,” the Buffaloes’ two-way star said.

‘They showed us a love we would never have received anywhere else.

Above all, though, Hunter hopes to be selected first overall, an honor that went to Caleb Williams in 2024, and the quarterback will end up in Chicago.

“I never dreamed of it until a couple of years ago, when I knew I had a chance to become the No. 1 pick,” Hunter explained.

‘That became my main goal, to become the first choice. I don’t even care where I am.
