A college football fan sent social media into hysterics Saturday with her overexcited response about her Indiana Hoosiers team.
The Hoosiers hosted the Washington Huskies on Saturday, winning 37-17, and before the game, ESPN’s College GameDay interviewed a fan who was about to attend the game.
“We’re really, really excited,” he said. ‘We are all freshmen, we have never seen them. We’ve never been to university!
‘And the team is so good, we are very excited. We were here at 7 in the morning, I had never gotten up so early. We’re here, we’re ready to fuck…’
As soon as he accidentally swore on live television, he covered his face with his hands and looked at the reporter, Samantha Johnson, in shock and embarrassment.
Indiana Hoosiers Fan Accidentally Cursed Live on TV Talking About Her Team Saturday
Reporter Samantha Johnson chimed in and joked: The fan said her team is “ready to fight.”
Johnson put his hand on the girl’s arm and quickly jumped up to say, “We’re ready to fight, is what she said.”
The moment immediately sparked fans to respond on social media. ‘His own reaction was priceless,’ said one, while another wrote: ‘Let’s normalize bombs! Go Hoosiers!!!’
Others picked up on something else the girl said, with one follower writing: “It bothers me more that she says she’s never gotten up at 7am…”
But the fan’s enthusiasm was in place: She watched her team defeat the Huskies 31-17 on Saturday, extending their undefeated start to the season to 8-0.
However, there are some important tests on the horizon. After next week’s game at Michigan State, they will host Michigan and also face Ohio State in their penultimate game of the year.
But for now, since they are at the top of the B1G, they are in position to make the playoffs, which means there will be a lot more hype for the viral freshman in the coming weeks.
