Coleen Rooney and husband Wayne were spotted on Wednesday going to pick up food together in Cheshire as her WAG war with Rebekah Vardy draws to a close.

The famous couple, both 35, were seen sitting on a bench outside Henry’s Cafe in Prestbury Village, waiting for their food with their dog.

The couple, who have been married since 2008, were dressed casually and Wayne wore a black puffer jacket and gray sweatpants matched his cap.

Colleen was dressed in a similarly sporty fashion in black running tights and a jacket paired with trainers, and her hair was scraped back to form a bun on top of her head.

According to onlookers, the pair barely spoke to each other, Colleen delved into her phone while Wayne looked serious talking on his phone all the time.

An onlooker said: ‘Wayne was on the phone the whole time. Colleen was constantly texting on the couch and then had a photo with a passerby. Another person said hello, to which she happily replied.

They didn’t speak at all. Colleen looked annoyed while he was around Henry, while Wayne was still on the phone and had been the whole time. She stood looking at Wayne and glared at him while he was still on the phone.

“They sat on the couch for about 10 minutes, then got a bag of food from Henry’s Cafe in the village and walked back to their house.”

It comes as MailOnline exclusively revealed that Rebekah Vardy is making a new bid to weaken rival Coleen’s case before their so-called Wagatha Christie case reaches its dramatic conclusion.

Rebekah, 39, is working to get some of the evidence from Coleen’s defense ‘crossed out’ in her latest move, the section is known as ‘TV Details Story’ and stems from a story that Coleen claims she’s in September 2019 leaked.

Meanwhile, Coleen has only 24 hours to add even more evidence for a new deadline, MailOnline has learned.

The dual developments indicate that the two warring Wags are farther than ever from reaching an eleventh hour agreement to prevent a lurid and hugely costly lawsuit from going ahead.

Coleen now has until 4:30 p.m. Friday to present evidence to oppose the battle, and Rebekah will then have a chance to answer Coleen’s evidence.

Rebekah, married to Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, is suing mother of four Coleen for libel after Coleen accused her of leaking false stories about her private life.

The long-running feud between the high-profile WAGS broke out after Coleen revealed she set a trap to see who was responsible for the leaks, earning her the nickname Wagatha Christie.

Coleen famously wrote, ‘I have saved and screened all of the original stories, clearly showing that only one person watched them. It’s ……………. The story of Rebekah Vardy. ‘

Soon after, Rebekah took to social media to deny that he was the person who leaked the stories to the press after Coleen’s post went viral

Last June, it was revealed that Rebekah had filed a case to sue Coleen for £ 1 million.

The latest twist in the saga was that Mr. Justice Nicklin set the deadline in a warrant and told both women that if they want to change a date, they must formally file an application with the court.

He also set a timetable for the case to continue, requiring both women to submit the revised cost budgets to the court by June 18 this year.

The part of the evidence that Rebekah wants to ‘strike through’ in her latest move – removed as evidence from the case – is known as the ‘TV Details story’ and dates back to September 2019.

At the time, Coleen claims to have blocked all followers of her Instagram Stories except Rebekah, then posted a selfie next to the caption: ‘Up and out !! Ease the way back to work !! TV decisions today… maybe it’s time for Australia ”and“ Good day ”with a heart emoji.

Three days later, the Sun published an ‘exclusive’ story suggesting that Coleen was in talks to join Strictly Come Dancing the following year and was looking ‘to revive her TV career’.

According to Coleen’s defense document, Rebekah could be the source of the sun’s story, but Rebekah’s lawyers reject that conclusion and want the judge to agree with them by striking out the passage.

A hearing on charges and case management will take place before Procedural Judge Master Roger Eastman on July 2, which will likely last two and a half hours. The hearing will decide how the case will go.

Coleen has already described Rebekah’s budget of nearly £ 900,000 for the case as ‘grotesque’ after a virtual hearing before Master Eastman in March, who said the budgets for both women were ‘extraordinarily large’.

Coleen estimated her legal costs budget at £ 402,312.

Attempts at mediation in hopes of resolving the case are doomed, especially as Coleen has refused to delete the messages at the center of the libel action, which remain accessible online.

Since Rebekah brought the case, there has been a series of legal skirmishes leading up to the planned full-blown case.

In October 2020, Coleen doubled down by submitting her 55-page defense and sharing images of the Instagram posts she claimed Rebekah leaked.

The following month, Rebekah won the first round of her libel battle in the Supreme Court at the ‘senses hearing’

In February, the pair attended a court order mediation session at Zoom, their first meeting in years.

The Zoom procedure began by reading a statement on both sides and then split into separate virtual chambers while the mediator spoke independently with them and their legal representatives.

Former columnist Coleen reportedly tried to reach brunette Rebekah after another round of botched talks to avoid a costly legal battle.

However, she is believed to have viewed the mediation as a “ waste of time, ” as TV star Becky continues to demand that she apologize for her vehement accusation.

Last February, Rebekah broke out about ITV’s Loose Women, saying the feud was “ one of the worst things I had to deal with other than abuse when I was younger. ”
