Cole Palmer swapped the football field for the red carpet, and had his girlfriend for company, at the GQ Men of the Year Awards on Tuesday night.

Palmer wore a suit and boots for the stylish event at Kensington Roof Gardens in London, while posing for photos with influencer Connie Grace.

Palmer and Grace, who is also from Mancun, have reportedly been dating for about three months, but made their first public appearance together on Tuesday.

The Chelsea star opted for a black suit and bow tie, and Grace matched it with a black dress that showed off her toned midriff.

The footballer made sure it wasn’t just about him and Grace, but he also had his mother Marie by his side in the capital.

The pair posed for photographs in a proud moment for Marie as her son stole the show after a breakthrough 12 months for club and country.

Palmer’s teammate Noni Madueke was also in attendance at the event, fresh from shining for England against Greece and the Republic of Ireland.

Madueke made the most of his opportunity in Bukayo Saka’s absence, providing an assist in England’s 3-0 win in Athens last Thursday.
