The supermodel, 44 – who also faced backlash over a Christmas video of Chanel twerking – shared a post that saw her and the 7-year-old dance shoulder to shoulder to the tune of the Black Eyed Peas remix “Boom Boom Pow”.
At one point in the video, Ice-T’s wife is seen raising her leg towards Chanel, who then attempts to slap her mother’s butt twice.

The video was met with mixed reactions, with one writing: “It’s not appropriate for a young girl or her mother,” as one of her 3 million followers wrote.

But not everyone understood the criticism. What’s strange about this? This is awesome, wrote a supporter.

Austin has not yet responded to the criticism. However, this is not the first time that she has faced comments regarding her parents.

After being criticized online about how she parented her daughter, Cuoco tried to pre-empt comments by saying in her comment that her daughter “likes to joke around.”
She shared a video of Chanel on her Instagram and explained in the caption that she and her family were in the middle of doing a TikTok video when Chanel came out to “spoil a movement.”
The caption read: “I must love family time! The adults in our family have been doing TikTok and Chanel runs out in the middle to bust a move that makes us laugh..she loves to joke around.”
