Coca-Cola Orange Cream will hit shelves nationwide in February next year

Coca-Cola has announced a new flavor and revealed that it will be available until at least early 2026.

The soft drink giant’s latest flavor addition will be Coca-Cola Orange Cream.

The exciting new flavor will hit shelves nationwide in February next year and will remain until at least the first quarter of the following year, Coco-Cola revealed.

Orange Cream will be available in regular and Zero formats, as well as in bottles and cans.

“Orange Cream was developed in direct response to consumer demand for the iconic and nostalgic taste of orange cream,” a Coca-Cola spokesperson told DailyMail.com.

The brand has dabbled in orange flavors before, but with limited success, quietly phasing out its Orange Vanilla flavor in 2022.

“I loved the Orange Vanilla, so I have high hopes for this one,” one soda fan wrote on Facebook about the impending release.

“I wish Pepsi would up their game since I’m a Diet Pepsi girl, but I’ll definitely try this one,” wrote another.

“I’ve been asking for this my whole life,” added another excitedly.

The latest flavor comes after Coca-Cola pulled its new Coca-Cola Spiced flavor after launching it to much fanfare just six months earlier.

The drinks giant ditched Spiced Coca-Cola after fans were furious over its “disgusting” taste.

“The smell makes me want to throw up (and) the taste is like window cleaner,” one Coca-Cola fan said of the new flavor in reddit.

Coca-Cola is “always looking at what our customers like and adjusting” its flavors, the beverage giant said of the change.

“As part of this strategy, we are planning to phase out Coca-Cola Spiced to introduce an exciting new flavor in 2025.” a spokesperson said.

The introduction of Spiced was an attempt to attract more Gen Z drinkers, but was roundly scrapped due to lackluster sales and consumer reaction.

Spiced ($1 per can or $2.20 for a 20-ounce bottle) was introduced as a permanent flavor earlier this year with a high-profile campaign.

But from the beginning consumers complained that the taste was confusing and “not really spicy.”

Spice isn’t the only flavor that’s been removed this year, as Cherry Vanilla and Diet Coke with Splenda have also been removed.

It’s also not the first time the soft drink giant has fallen short of the younger demographic it’s chasing.

In 2022, it teamed up with DJ Mashmello to create a flavor that consumers said tasted nothing like marshmallows and didn’t take off.

Despite some flavor failures, Coca-Cola remains the dominant soft drink maker in the United States and the world.

After once battling Pepsi for the top spot, its former rival has now been surpassed by Dr Pepper.

Coca-Cola has nearly 20 percent of the $97 billion soft drink market in the United States. Pepsi’s market share is 8.31 percent and Dr Pepper is now 8.34 percent.
