One of the world’s largest music festivals, the event has been held every spring in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado desert since 1999.
After being pushed back due to the pandemic, the festival announced its long-awaited return on Tuesday with a simple tweet that read: ‘See you in the desert’
Coachella is scheduled to return on the weekends of April 15-17 and next year’s 22-24.
The lineup has not yet been announced, but tickets will be available on June 4 at 10 a.m. PST.

The last Coachella music festival was held in April 2019 before the coronavirus pandemic

When the coronavirus pandemic hit in the US last year, the festival was moved from April 2020 to October 2020, before being canceled outright in June for the first time in 20 years.
The 2020 Coachella lineup featured Frank Ocean, Rage Against the Machine and Travis Scott as headliners, with a full lineup including Lana Del Rey, Lil Uzi Vert, Thom Yorke, Run the Jewels, Danny Elfman, FKA twigs, DaBaby , 21 Savage, Caribou, Lil Nas X and more, Pitchfork reported.
The festival was then moved to April 2021 before being canceled again in JJanuary after California’s public health official ordered Coachella to cancel the event due to ongoing concerns about COVID.
Coachella has not yet commented on DailyMail.com about whether visitors should bring a vaccination certificate to attend the festival or whether a mask mandate would be in effect.

The festival’s promoter, Goldenvoice, also announced that the Stagecoach Country Music Festival will return from April 29 to May 1, 2022.
They join several other music festivals making a comeback such as Rolling Loud, Governor’s Ball, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits, all of which have dates from July to October this year.
