CNN anchor Erin Burnett admitting evidence that members of President Biden’s family received more than $1 million from various accounts linked to son Hunter’s Chinese business partners “doesn’t look good” for the First family.
During a recent episode of CNN’s “Erin Burnett OutFront,” the host referred to the subpoenaed financial records, which were obtained by the House Oversight Committee.
Records show that money from the president’s troubled son was funneled to various members of the Biden clan, including James Biden and Beau Biden’s widow, Hallie Biden.
Burnett cited the financial records cited, which show Hunter’s business associate funneled funds to various members of his family, with Just Security co-editor Ryan Goodman.
She said that any layperson would think that Chinese payments don’t “look good.”

Goodman, however, said that in all likelihood, nothing “legally harmful” would result from the searches, although they may exhibit “possibly unethical” behaviour.
“When I look at all the facts alleged in the four page memo, it seems potentially unethical. But it’s hard to connect it to any illegality or crime,” Goodman said.
Goodman also noted that the payments could look like “influence peddling” between the foreign assets and the Bidens, as some Republicans have warned for years may be the case, but again noted that he saw nothing illegal at play.
CNN recently began covering Hunter Biden’s alleged corrupt behavior, first publishing its own report on the Biden family’s questionable ethics in January, more than two years after the New York Post first reported on Hunter’s laptop. Hunter.

Comer wrote to Walker that the panel “is investigating President Biden’s involvement in his family’s business practices” and “identified him as a key witness in this matter and reviewed evidence showing that he received millions of dollars from a company energy from China and elsewhere.

Democrats raged at Comer’s public campaign on Thursday, with the White House calling it an “attack” on the president’s daughter-in-law.
A spokesperson for Hunter Biden’s legal team blasted the revelations as old news, saying the funds transferred to Hallie Biden were part of “shared costs.” Hunter previously acknowledged that he was in a relationship with her at the time.
“Here we go again as Rep. Comer takes something old and tries to make it new by wrapping it up in a wild and baseless right-wing conspiracy,” the spokeswoman said in a statement provided to DailyMail.com.

“That’s not true,” Biden said when asked about it as he left the White House to spend the weekend at his home in Wilmington, Del.
