This is the hilarious moment when an elephant gets stuck trying to climb a fence after looting crops in India.
The animal was caught on camera Nov. 16 in Nagarhole National Park in Karnataka, southwestern India.
The video shows the elephant initially balancing with one leg on a support of the metal fence as it scans the other side.

The animal can be seen on November 16 as it struggles to climb over the barrier in Nagarhole National Park
He then puts his front legs over the fence, but gets stuck with his hefty torso and hind legs in the air, pointing at the camera.
The elephant struggles for a moment before he knows how to use his hind legs to push his weight over the barrier.
In a gigantic effort, he pushes himself up, briefly kneeling on the top rung, before finally reaching the other side safely.
The video was shared on Twitter by Supriya Sahu with the caption “Speechless.”
The clip has been viewed more than 248,000 times and liked by nearly 20,000 people.
One person commented, “I’ve seen videos of these gentle giants crossing a thin bamboo fence when they could have easily walked through it.”
Another said: ‘Traffic violation, that elephant should be fined 500 rupees.’
Mahesh Kumar, director of Nagarahole Tiger Reserve, said: the Indian Express that the video was shot in the Veeranahosalli Range on the morning of November 16.
He said the animal returned to the forest after harvesting.

And it’s not the first elephant to get stuck climbing a fence.
A clumsy calf got stuck with its hind legs in mid-air over a wooden fence at a rescue center in Thailand on May 2.
Filmed in Chiang Mai, the clip captured the adventurous animal balancing on its front legs and its two hind legs dangling over the sturdy fence.
The younger, named Khnseuk, struggled to get out of the precarious position as an older elephant watched from the cage.
He shuffles forward, manages to get one leg over the top of the fence before awkwardly sliding forward again until the other falls to the ground

The energetic elephant then regained his balance before making his way to his older companion.
Khunseuk’s caretaker said he had “no idea” how the young elephant ended up in such a strange position.
