Legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood is proving he’s not letting age slow him down after making a rare public appearance in California before turning 94 years old.
The filmmaker was spotted attending a speaking event hosted by renowned conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall in his adopted hometown of Carmel-by-the-Sea late last month.
The $95 ticket event, ‘Reasons for Hope,’ was held at the local Sunset Cultural Center, where the elder Eastwood sat front row and center.
He also joined the famous primatologist backstage at the reception open to VIP guests.

Eastwood, whose thick white beard and hair were on display, was accompanied by an assistant but was cheerful enough to take the stage on his own.
The March 24 event, presented by Wildlife Conservation Network, was billed as a stop on fellow nonagenarian Jane Goodall’s ’90th birthday tour,’ according to the venue’s website.
Goodall celebrated the milestone days later, on April 3.

The thriller began filming in June 2023 and is expected to be Eastwood’s last.
