A handful of climate protesters have disrupted the annual AFL Grand Final parade – lying in front of the ute carrying the Prime Minister’s Cup in Melbourne.
The three protesters wore T-shirts saying “I can’t play soccer in 50 degrees” and blocked the parade about halfway.
Security guards moved the protesters away from the route after a few minutes, and helicopter footage showed the demonstrators being taken away.
The footage shows two of the protesters sitting in front of the ute, while a third is lying face down on the road.
