UK cleaners have revealed some of their most shocking moments on the job.
In a recently resurfaced 2018 Mumsnet article, a cleaner shared a post captioned: “Cleaner here, ask me anything! – and people weren’t shy about asking intriguing questions.
THE job received 73 queries from curious users who asked about embarrassing moments while cleaning someone’s house and the worst things the cleaner has ever seen.
In a shocking response to the question regarding one of the strangest things she has encountered while cleaning someone’s house, the housekeeper revealed that she found a sex toy laying in the middle of the floor of the living room.
Responding to a user’s question, “What’s the worst you’ve seen,” the housekeeper admits that “nothing shocks her as much as things did during her early years in the industry.

She wrote: “Found used condoms, shaved crap all over the bathroom, animal shit, sick cats, all kinds. »
The housekeeper then exposes the “grossest” thing she’s encountered while cleaning someone’s shower: an endless clump of hair from the drain.
She said: “I pulled it out of the shower drain. I pulled out what I thought were a few strands, but it kept coming out, it was all kind of stuck with God knows what.
Then, revealing the weirdest object she’s encountered while cleaning, she wrote, “The weirdest thing I found was a sex toy, casually left in the middle of the living room.”
Another controversial question posed to the housekeeper led one user to ask her if she had ever caught the owners doing anything embarrassing.
Surprisingly, the housekeeper had never caught the real owners doing anything, but admitted to awkwardly hearing “people shit”.
She then details an uncomfortable experience she once had with the couple of a house she was cleaning that had just entered into the proceeds of a divorce.
The cleaner admitted that “nothing shocked her so much as things during her early years in the industry – but claimed to have encountered an ab**t take while cleaning the floor of a salon.

The housekeeper wrote: “Witnessed an awful divorce between a couple I was cleaning for, the wife was lovely but the DH was clearly an abusive asshole. He was eyeing me too.
“When I came to clean up, they would either shoot each other passively and aggressively, or one would come out while the other just stood there fucking the other one at me.”
After feeling ‘sorry’ for his wife, the housekeeper revealed: ‘They were millionaires with a huge real estate company, but she ended up living in a small house with the 2 kids and started working in a desk.
“I don’t know how it happened. I still think of her sometimes, I hope she is well.
