Tributes are pouring in for a 41-year-old motorcyclist killed in a head-on collision on the Gold Coast.
Claudia Galleguillos, 41, was riding her motorcycle on Guinea Creek Road in Elanora when she collided with an SUV Thursday afternoon. She died on the spot.
Paramedics also treated a 48-year-old woman who was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with minor injuries.
Police are investigating the accident.

Her nephew Jesse Bryant told the Gold Coast Bulletin that her family had last seen her a few days before the accident and that she was “in good spirits”.
“She was always very helpful and she was one of the most selfless people I could ever meet,” he said.
Ms. Galleguillos’ brother, Felipe Galleguillos, started a GoFundMe to help pay for his sister’s funeral.
“I still can’t believe that once again I have to call on the help and support of friends and loved ones to help my beautiful and loving sister, Claudia, rest,” she said. -he declares.
