Claire Sweeney shared a sweet post with her Brookside on-screen husband Sam Kane on Wednesday, following her split from Ricky Hatton this month.
The newly single actress, 53, shared a snap from her soap wedding on her Instagram with Sam, who played the character Peter Phelan.
Claire played Lindsey Corkhill on Channel 4’s Brookside from 1991 to 2003 and was married to Peter (Sam) on the show.
She wrote in the caption: ‘The only time I was married was on TV on Brookie, to the lovely Peter played by Sam Kane, who married @lindalusardi in real life.
‘Happy times at Brookie. who knows… it could be Steve Macdonald next, or maybe Cassie is too busy poisoning Kenny.’
The sweet post comes after her split from Ricky earlier this month.
