Claire Foy looks unrecognizable as she steps outside for Dior’s star-studded Paris Fashion Week show

Claire Foy rocked a brand new look when she stepped out Monday afternoon for Dior’s Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week show.

The actress, 37, sported blonde-toned locks and opted for an understated makeup look, a far cry from her prim and proper appearance in Netflix’s The Crown.

Pairing her bold new ‘do’ with a chic strappy black midi dress, Claire added a touch of grunge to the elegant ensemble, swapping heels for patent leather boots.

The stars had VIP seats for Maria Grazia Chiuri’s stunning opening collection for Paris Haute Couture Week.

The show is one of 16 live catwalks to take place during the week, up from eight runway shows last season, with COVID severely limiting the number of fashion houses that could host a public event.

Seven more houses will provide physical and video presentations for editors and clients this year; and another six will be purely digital displays.

The acclaimed actress recently admitted that she wasn’t comfortable with the level of success she had after her stint on Netflix’s The Crown.

However, speaking of her triumphs in the podcast Reign with Josh Smith, Claire confessed that she felt she didn’t “deserve” such accolades and said of her success, “I wish I could have enjoyed it more.”

She explained: “I think it makes me feel uncomfortable is what I’ve learned.

“Not that going to the parties and lovely people who are really nice to you is great and great for people to enjoy things you’ve done, but it made me feel uncomfortable because I didn’t really think I deserved it.

“So that’s no fun, is it? That’s not nice, because actually you have the feeling that it is even more hollow, I think.’

The TV star went on to say she “wish” she could have “enjoyed it more”, but noted: “But I honestly don’t think I ever would have. I guess I just don’t know if that’s necessarily in my character.’
