Cillian Murphy showed off his ripped physique on Thursday as he headed to the gym ahead of filming the Peaky Blinders movie.
The 47-year-old Irish actor, who played lead character Tommy Shelby in the hit BBC series, showed off his toned figure under a grey T-shirt as he prepared to train in Dublin.
Cillian also wore casual sweatpants and sneakers with a cap and sunglasses.
Her new look was a drastic change from last year, when she used grueling and “unhealthy” methods to prepare for her Oscar-winning role in Oppenheimer.
Cillian went to great lengths to portray J. Robert Oppenheimer, reportedly eating only one almond a day to reflect the physique’s “almost emaciated” figure.

The 47-year-old Irish actor, who played lead character Tommy Shelby in Peaky Blinders, showed off his toned figure under a grey T-shirt as he prepared to get back into shape.
However, he has since returned to form after signing up for the Peaky Blinders film, which looks set to see him reprise his lead role, two years after the BBC series came to an end.
Cillian said of the project earlier this year: ‘I’ve always said that if Knight delivers a script that I know he can deliver, because he’s a phenomenal writer, I’ll be there.
“If we want to see 50-year-old Tommy Shelby, I’ll be there. Let’s do it.”
The spin-off will be filmed in Birmingham, England, at Digbeth Studios and on location in Digbeth and Small Heath.
The film is expected to be released in 2025 at the earliest, but no official date has been announced.
Cillian said of his character Tommy: “I loved playing him. It was exhausting and so different for me that every time I came back to play him it was a bit of a journey.
“I’m not really sentimental about the work. I feel that what comes next is the most exciting.
“And I mean, it was a ten-year period in my life, so it’s significant, but I always feel like we have to move on.”
Cillian also donned a casual tracksuit and trainers with a cap and sunglasses as he strolled through the car park to the gym for a workout.
The original plan was to have a seventh series of Peaky Blinders, which would have taken place during World War II.
However, the film will now serve as the series’ conclusion after six seasons.
Peaky Blinders premiered in 2013 and was a huge hit with viewers both in Britain and abroad, attracting roles for big screen stars such as Tom Hardy and Anya Taylor-Joy.
This is not the first time Cillian has had to transform his body for an acting role.
He is said to have gone to great lengths to achieve the slight build of J. Robert Oppenheimer, for which he won the Best Actor award at the Oscars.
His co-star Emily Blunt spoke about Cillian’s dramatic transformation, telling how he only survived on one “almond a day” in his gruelling diet.
In an interview with Extra, Emily, who plays his on-screen wife Kitty, described the “monumental undertaking” of losing weight for the role.
Cillian said: ‘I love acting with my body, and Oppenheimer had a very distinctive physicality and silhouette that I wanted to get right.
‘I had to lose a lot of weight and we worked on costumes and tailoring; he was very thin, almost emaciated, living on martinis and cigarettes.
“She had very bright eyes and I wanted to give her that wide-eyed look, so we worked a lot on her silhouette and her expressions before we started.”
Cillian has been back in shape after signing up for the Peaky Blinders film to reprise his lead role as Tommy Shelby, two years after the BBC series came to an end.
