A woman has revealed in tears how her granddaughter was drawn for life after a convicted sex offender kidnapped the girl.
Christoper Irwin, 34, pleaded on Wednesday at Campbelltown Local Court guilty of two allegations of taking or holding a person and deliberately touching a child sexually.
Irwin lured the seven-year-old, who was skating in her grandmother's front yard in Sydney's Macquarie Fields, to an abandoned house in May.
After she had led her into the house, the 34-year-old began to undress her.

Irwin was noticed by two men in their twenties who called to the girl's grandmother and stopped him until the police arrived, The Daily Telegraph reported.
The grandmother said she was relieved that the young girl did not have to be dragged through the lawsuit after Irwin & # 39; s guilty plea.
& # 39; I want him to be away from society for as long as possible so that no child or family ever has to go through what we have done again, & # 39; the grandmother said 10 daily.
She said that after the kidnapping, the young girl was forever drawn and struggled to sleep.

& # 39; It has drawn her for life. Her innocence has vanished from that incident, & she said.
She said that if it wasn't for the men who had seen the Irwin grab her granddaughter, she would & # 39; another statistic & # 39; would have become.
& # 39; If they weren't there, she would have been dead … she wouldn't be here to tell a story, she wouldn't be here struggling with post-traumatic stress, & # 39; she said.
The seven-year-old has had nightmares since then and was so traumatized after the incident that she could not be driven through the streets.
Irwin also pleaded guilty of not complying with reporting obligations after he was caught on child pornography.
Irwin will be tried again on November 22 when he is convicted.
