The first event took place at the Napoleon House in Louisiana, where 76 guests gathered to witness the vows.

Hendricks later recreated the magic of her first wedding in California so her Alzheimer’s-stricken mother Jackie could witness it.

Sharing snaps on social media, she explained: ‘My mom has Alzheimer’s and couldn’t come to New Orleans for our wedding, so yesterday we brought the wedding to our backyard.

“My mother has always been my best friend and there was no way we weren’t going to share our love and celebrate it with the biggest support and cheerleader of my life,” she added.

The caption continued: “When you live so in the moment, so in the present, it is very important to have beauty, love and happiness around you.” This time we were joined by florists, dogs and more wonderful friends.
