Christina Hall has claimed her ex, Josh Hall, is asking for an “outrageous” sum of $65,000 a month in spousal support amid their messy divorce.
The TV personality, 41, who recently moved on after their split, filed for divorce from Josh in early July of this year after nearly three years of marriage.
Last week, Thursday, October 10, Christina filed legal papers in California Superior Court in Orange County as she continues to plan to sell the $4.5 million Tennessee mansion she used to share with Josh.
In documents obtained by Us weekly On Tuesday, her ex-husband had submitted a “good faith settlement offer” asking for “$65,000 a month in spousal support from (Christina) in a marriage of 2 years and 9 months.”
However, Christina’s attorney, Matthew S. DeArmey, called the request “hardly in good faith.”
Christina Hall, 41, has claimed her ex, Josh Hall, is asking for an “outrageous” sum of $65,000 a month in spousal support amid their messy divorce.
In a statement, his attorney said, “The court is familiar with offers labeled as ‘good faith’ settlement offers that are not actually made in good faith.”
DeArmey also added: “Josh Hall is seeking $65,000 per month in spousal support from (Christina) in a marriage of 2 years and 9 months, which is outrageous when he is self-sufficient.”
In the documents, Christina’s legal team also noted her ex’s recent purchase of a luxury vehicle.
‘Josh just paid over $70,000 to pay off the lease on (Christina’s separate property, Bentley, so he doesn’t need spousal support from (her).’
Her legal team further claims that their settlement offer came at the same time as their court filing to stop Christina from selling the $4.5 million Tennessee home.
Josh also filed papers last week on Thursday asking the court to stop Christina from selling the mansion.
Earlier this month, the TV personality listed the abode and expressed on Instagram that she was “excited” to sell the home, which she had previously lived in with Josh during their marriage.
Christina notably claimed that Josh had ‘stolen’ from her, writing: ‘Remember when you said you would never steal from me or my kids and that you would be happy in a van with your dog?’

‘I guess plans changed. All about trying to take as much as you can… With your mind on my money and my money on your mind…. Goodbye.’
Josh claimed on Sept. 25, according to Us Weekly, that he “provided Christina with a global settlement offer, which included terms related to (Tennessee) residency,” which she “rejected.”
On Tuesday, a spokesperson for Josh informed the outlet that Christina’s claims are “riddled with demonstrably false statements” and added, “Josh never requested $65,000 in support.” That’s false.’
In Christina’s own documents, she alleged that the Nashville mansion was just an investment property that Josh could “access and use…when it was not otherwise rented.”
However, Josh’s rep further criticized his claims, stating, “The Nashville property was never an investment house.”
‘Christina was in Nashville so long that she had to make a public statement about it, calling it her “second home.” No one spends so much time in an “investment house” that they often have to clarify why they are there. That doesn’t make any sense.
“It’s sad that Christina’s team is so desperate to smear Josh that they can’t even come up with logical lies. Josh continues to pray for Christina and hopes to resolve this matter privately.
In Christina’s filing, she rejected Josh’s request not to sell the Nashville home, but stated that if the home is sold, it would be a “similar commercial property” and she would not receive any money for it.
In a statement, his attorney said, “The court is familiar with offers labeled as ‘good faith’ settlement offers that are not actually made in good faith.”
It comes as the HGTV star finally changed her surname amid her contentious divorce from Josh.
It was revealed in a press release for her show Christina In The Country on Tuesday that she is now using her maiden name again, which is Haack, after filing for divorce three months earlier.
The reality TV siren best known for Flip Or Flop did the same when she divorced British TV star Ant Anstead.
It’s hard to keep up with Christina as this is her fifth name change in the last decade. Their surnames have gone from Haack to El Moussa to Anstead to Haack to Hall to Haack again.
She has been married three times: first to Tarek El Moussa, then to Ant Anstead, and then to Josh Hall.
He has yet to change his last name to Haack on his Instagram profile.
Christina is also a mother of three children. They are Taylor, 13, and her son Braydon, eight, with her first husband, El Moussa. She also has four-year-old Hudson with Ant Anstead.
Last week, Josh responded after she claimed he had stolen from her amid their split.

The reality TV star’s spokesperson contacted DailyMail.com with a statement.
“Josh has repeatedly said he wants to handle the divorce like an adult: in court, not on social media or in the tabloids,” the note began.
‘Time and time again, Christina has insisted otherwise, creating public spectacles, but Josh remains silent. But now Christina is slandering him.
‘These are false and defamatory statements. Josh hasn’t stolen a dime from her or her family. “This is a red line and Christina has crossed it.”
The note further said, “Rather than repeating Christina’s false statement, the media should ask why Christina continues to insist on handling this matter in public rather than through the law.”

When they separated, Hall moved from his $12 million mansion in Newport Beach, California, to the Tennessee home.
Their split has been very controversial and public and Christina often criticizes him on social media.
The reality star split from her third husband earlier this summer and recently shared how the separation left her unable to eat for weeks until she found solace in the love of her children.
She wrote on her Instagram Stories: ‘A month later… I finally got my appetite back. I’m exercising again. My children are happy and our house feels like home. “Those poor kids adore me…anyone who really knows us knows this and that’s what matters.”
Josh ‘voluntarily left’ his home in Southern California and is said to have ‘never wanted to be famous in the first place.’
A source said Us weekly: “Josh is sad the marriage ended this way, but he’s excited to move on.”
When they separated, Hall moved from his $12 million mansion in Newport Beach, California, to the Tennessee home.
‘He voluntarily moved his belongings from his and Christina’s joint property. He never wanted to be famous.
The source added: “This was always meant for Christina and he’s happy to get back to living life the way he wanted to live it.”
Josh insisted he preferred “privacy,” especially at a “life-changing” time.
The HGTV star also accused Josh of taking $35,000 of his own money and took to Instagram to hint that there had been problems in their relationship for some time.
