San Francisco 49ers star Christian McCaffrey has become the surprise buyer of George Clooney’s property in Los Angeles.
Last week it was reported that the Hollywood star had sold his Los Angeles property, previously profiled by DailyMail.com, for $14.5 million.
The 63-year-old filmmaker gave up his six-bedroom Studio City mansion, which once belonged to Stevie Nicks, earlier this month after owning it for nearly 30 years, but the new owners of the Fryman Canyon home had remained a mystery until now.
McCaffrey and his ex-Miss Universe wife, Olivia Culpo, have been revealed as the buyers who shelled out the money to take Clooney’s impressive mansion, according to TMZ.
The star running back and Culpo tied the knot in a stunning ceremony at Ocean House in Westerly, Rhode Island, in June and now appear to have moved closer to their forever home.

The couple started dating in 2019 and he popped the question while on vacation in 2023.
Culpo previously joked that she would “rip out the IUD” on her wedding night, as she’s ready to start a family with McCaffrey right away.
And now the high-profile couple appear to have found the perfect property to raise a large family.
The sprawling 7,000-square-foot abode has a main house and several guest houses, a tennis court and a swimming pool on a 3.1-acre plot.
According to the publication, Clooney, the veteran Hollywood leading man, hosted many soirées there over the past 29 years.
After meeting and marrying his wife of ten years, Amal Clooney, the sprawling home became the “private oasis” where they have been raising their seven-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, as Amal described in a Vogue interview of 2018.
According to TMZ, the residence is hidden behind trees, which provided isolation for the family.
The longtime couple also owns homes in Italy, France and New York, making for a colorful real estate portfolio.
McCaffrey and Culpo tied the knot in a dreamy seaside chapel in June of this year.

Culpo and McCaffrey exchanged their vows in front of friends and family, including their 49ers teammates, in a dreamy oceanside chapel, just a stone’s throw from Taylor Swift’s sprawling Watch Hill mansion.
The former pageant queen looked radiant in a crepe Dolce & Gabbana ballgown, which featured a round neckline, long sleeves and buttons down the back.
She spoke to Vogue about her decision to wear a full-coverage dress while saying “I do” to the runner.
“I didn’t want it to ooze sex in any way,” Culpo explained.
‘I wanted it to feel effortless and like it complemented me, not dominated me. “There is so much beauty and simplicity,” he added.
“When I think about Christian and what he loves and the moments when he thinks I’m the most beautiful, it’s absolutely something like this: timeless, draped and elegant.”
