Christian Horner will make his first public appearance today, at the Red Bull car launch, since he was accused of “inappropriate behaviour” by a female staff member.
The 50-year-old husband of former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell will stick to the schedule set weeks ago and attend the event at his Milton Keynes factory. “Business as usual,” is the mantra there.
Horner categorically denies the claims. He will face questions from the media about his future as boss of the world championship-winning team, but limits are likely to be placed on what he will say for legal reasons.
Horner won’t go into detail on the issue, but will confront what the controversy potentially means for Red Bull’s approach to its world championship defense.
Last Friday he met with the outside investigator, a lawyer for the king, to outline his rebuttal of the allegations in an all-day hearing.
