‘Coming to terms with not being able to carry anymore is still very difficult for me because I feel so healthy. I’m like, why? The model, 35, admitted in her cover story before PeopleBut then I think about it because my uterus just isn’t working with me – and it’s not a failure.

Despite the loss, Chrissy expressed her gratitude to her other two children, daughter Luna, four, and son Miles, two, who were both conceived through IVF.

“I’m so lucky with that,” she told the magazine. “I just think of it in terms of how blessed I already am, and there are also so many ways to have a child these days … be it surrogacy or adoption.”

In keeping with Thai tradition, the family has planted a tree in their home to honor their son.

In Thai tradition, it is important to us that we always embrace those we have lost, and they never, never disappeared. Since this tree was planted indoors, the whole reason I wanted it was so Jack’s ashes could be in that ground and he could be with us all the time and grow through the beautiful leaves in this tree, ”she said.

“The way Miles and Luna talk about him is so beautiful and reminds me of when I was little with my grandfather sitting in a small urn just next to my mother,” she said. “It’s all beautiful, and I love that tradition that continues.”

Chrissy revealed she lost Jack in September 2020, with a series of heartbreaking photos of herself in the hospital.

“ We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before, ” she told followers. “We’ve never been able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough. ‘

On Thursday, she posted a photo of herself standing in front of a wall of her magazine covers.

Chrissy still had three People covers to hang, but there was barely any room on the wall for her latest work.

“we need a bigger boat,” she mused in the caption.
