John Legend and Chrissy Teigen joined celebrities attending Arsenal vs Ipswich Town on Friday – but were criticized by football fans after an “embarrassing” interview.
The singer, 45, and his wife, 39, appeared to forget which teams they had played when speaking to Prime Video Sport after the match.
But fans branded the pair “clueless” when they got confused, with Chrissy even wearing a Chelsea shirt to the game.
Chrissy has since slammed ‘blacks and t***s’ who claim she doesn’t know anything about football.
On her Instagram Stories, she raged: ‘Do you know who the biggest ‘n**syt***s’ are? People who don’t like football as much as I do’
Then, sharing a snap of herself in a football uniform before a match, she added: “Does this look like the face of someone who doesn’t know football?”

Speaking to the streamer later that night, John said: ‘This was so much fun. This is our first Premier League game and we are here during the holidays.
‘We are having a great time. You know, my friends, I don’t know the league very well, and my friends were saying, well, Arsenal are going to win by six goals.
“But it was a more even game than we expected, more even than we thought.”
When asked why she supports Chelsea, Chrissy responded: “Listen, I love the underdogs and I love to come and be surprised at how much a team can do and I think it was a lot of fun for us to support them, because everyone was on the side of the Arsenal.
‘Yes, I really wanted to give them the support they needed. When you said Chelsea, I thought: Chelsea is Ipswich? I don’t know.’
John continued: ‘Every once in a while we go to some of the Los Angeles football games. And this is where the real football is played.
Chrissy said: “We feel spoiled being here, especially as people who don’t understand the game and the nuances as much as everyone else.” So the fact that we can be on the field…
‘We love the songs. I was always listening. I was trying to figure out what everyone was singing throughout the entire game. But I love how in sync everyone is,” John added.
