Chris Pratt is under fire for his neutral approach to the presidential election.
In an essay he wrote for his mother-in-law Maria Shriver’s website, Maria Shriver’s Sunday NewspaperThe Marvel actor wanted to remember that whoever wins the elections – and which side wins – “we are compatriots.”
He wrote: “It’s okay to take a moment to lick your wounds when you’re lost.” Hell, go ahead and cry in the mirror.
“But if we become too paralyzed by defeat or too pompous in victory, loyalty to our ‘team’ can blind us to the fact that we are compatriots,” the movie star said.
