Chris Pratt shared a heartfelt message on Instagram earlier Saturday to pay a special tribute to a crew member from his latest Netflix movie who was killed in an off-set car accident on Friday.
The actor, 43, re-posted a statement announcing the sad loss and expressed his condolences to the family and friends of “our beloved teamster.”
The crew member had been working on the set of the upcoming Netflix movie, The Electric State, and production was halted following the news.

The Jurassic World actor re-posted a statement about the tragic accident shared by directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, along with the production company, AGBO Films.
The statement read: “Electric State’s manufacturing family lost a valued manufacturing employee yesterday.”
“We extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends. We love our crew like family. And this is devastating news for all of us.”
Chris added his own personal message, typing: “Our prayers go out to the family and friends of our beloved teamster who passed away Friday morning.”

A source told Deadline Earlier Friday, “Production was paused today and cast and crew were getting counseling tools.
The tragic accident reportedly took place in Georgia, where the film is currently being shot. The unidentified crew member’s death is said to have occurred ‘after work’.
Recently seen on set: Millie Bobby Brown, a cast member of the film, was recently spotted on the set of The Electric State
Pratt and Brown were spotted on the set of the film by DailyMail.com cameras in Georgia last Wednesday, with the Guardians of the Galaxy star unrecognizable because he wore a wig and handlebar mustache.
The film is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Swedish author Simon Stålenhag.
The premise follows: “An orphaned teen traverses the American West with a sweet but mysterious robot and an eccentric bum in search of her younger brother.” IMDB.
