It comes after Chris revealed what Harry Styles (right) told him at the Venice Film Festival during the infamous spit door moment when he recalled the moment he learned their interactions had gone viral.
‘I think what he said, he leaned in, and I think he said, ‘It’s just words, isn’t it?’ Because we had this little joke, because we’re all out of line, we’re all trying to answer these questions, and sometimes when you’re doing this press stuff, your brain gets all messed up, you know, you start talking gibberish, and we had a joke like, “It’s just words, man.”
At the time, a representative for Pine responded to the ‘spitting’ scandal: “This is a ridiculous story… a complete fabrication and the result of a bizarre online illusion that is clearly misleading and allows for silly speculation.”
“To be clear, Harry Styles did NOT spit on Chris Pine,” he continued.
“There is nothing but respect between these two men, and any suggestion to the contrary is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply isn’t there.”
