Saints catcher Chris Olave was left devastated after a terrifying blow to the head on Sunday, and his brother took to X afterward to criticize the organization.
Olave was stretchered off the field and taken to a nearby hospital after becoming trapped between the Panthers’ Mike Jackson and Xavier Woods while trying to catch a pass from Derek Carr down the middle of the field.
And following the head injury, which was Olave’s second concussion of the season, his brother Josh attacked the Saints after a fan questioned whether it was “worth it” for his brother.
“It’s not worth it in Nola, I tell you,” Josh said.
It was the fourth concussion in the professional career of Olave, who is only in his third season.

Josh also backed up a criticism of Carr from former Saints receiver Michael Thomas, who criticized his former quarterback after Olave was injured.
Thomas, who played with Carr for just one season in New Orleans, wrote: “Dude tried to lie and say he was jealous that they made Chris WR1 all the time and couldn’t even get a decent ball.” He needs his ass shouted at.
Josh then reposted that message on X with a ‘100’ emoji.
Thomas didn’t stop there in criticizing Carr, as he also said, “Dude, it’s scary and you panic and you just throw the ball.” Get him out of here, he’s such an idiot.
A third tweet also read: “They fired all the coaches who tried to cover up his flaws and he’s still doing the same s**t.”
Meanwhile, Carr told reporters that he feels “sick to my stomach” every time one of his receivers gets hurt, but admitted his confusion about why Thomas has a problem with him.
His brother Josh criticized the Saints in X and supported new criticism from Michael Thomas.
“I’ve had a lot of teammates over the years and he’s the only guy that didn’t get along with me,” Carr said. And I don’t know what I did to him.
‘I don’t know why you feel that way. I’m sorry for whatever you’re facing to make you feel like you have to do that. I don’t know. But he never called me during all this.
‘My phone number has never changed. In fact I have called him on different occasions. Just to try it. And sometimes you can try all you want and it just doesn’t work. And that’s okay, so I don’t know why you feel that way.”
Olave was carted off the field in Carolina, but later tweeted, “I’m fine” after the concussion.

The drama continued for the Saints on Monday when coach Dennis Allen was fired following the team’s loss to the league’s worst Panthers.
Josh shared after the game that his brother was “up and active,” and Olave was released from the hospital and cleared to return to New Orleans with his team.
Meanwhile, Chris wrote: “Thank God I appreciate all the love and prayers I’ll be okay.”
He will now enter concussion protocol before the team’s game against the Falcons next weekend.
