Chris Hemsworth has shared a tribute to his longtime personal trainer, Luke Zocchi.
The 40-year-old superstar showed off his toned chest muscles in a photo posted to Instagram on Monday.
The actor also posted an old picture, showing off his slimmer figure when the two men were still children.
Chris appeared to be a young teenager in the picture, with the two enjoying ice cream together.
The new photo showed just how much they had grown into men and how much impressive muscles they had developed along the way.
“Happy 40th birthday to one of my best friends @zocobodypro. You are one of a kind brother,” Chris wrote in the caption alongside the image.
Zocchi, who lives near the Hemsworth clan in Byron Bay, helps the superstar and his wife Elsa Pataky work on their physiques for blockbuster roles.
Speaking exclusively to FEMAIL, Luke said that weight lifting is key for those who want to lose weight and build muscle.

The actor also posted a picture from when they were both kids, in which he looked slimmer. Chris looked like a teenager in the picture, and the two were enjoying some ice cream.
Luke also shared that Elsa, 48, used the same program Chris followed for his new blockbuster, Thor: Love & Thunder, to get in shape for her role as the very ripped Captain JJ Collins in Interceptor, which left her in “the best shape of her life.”
Both Elsa and Chris used the Power program, designed by Luke, on Chris’s fitness app, Centr.
“Everyone thinks you can only get these kinds of results by spending endless hours in the gym, but that’s just not the case,” Chris told FEMAIL.
‘We have designed Centr Power with extensive experience to be a muscle-building program that offers the best possible results, fits into busy lifestyles and has the convenience of being done anywhere.

‘Centr Power shares the formula we’ve used to get in top shape for over 20 films, including the Thor franchise.
‘It’s designed around the key principles of muscle development and will allow you to work at your best no matter how long you’ve been lifting weights – now in super-sized size for even greater results.’
To build your biceps to resemble those of the God of Thunder, Luke recommends working your upper body during the first four to six weeks of a new training regimen.
“Keep the weights at a manageable level and the reps as low as possible,” he says.
‘Then I would try to challenge myself a little more each week – I would increase the intensity of the weights I use and increase the reps from 6-8 to 8-12.
‘I would focus on two sessions of “pushing” movements and two sessions of “pulling” movements to make sure you are working all the different muscles you are working.
