Meanwhile, someone else said: ‘OMG that’s so fluffy!’
However, some followers were not impressed with Elsa’s decision to acquire the canine from a breeder.
‘What rescue was he adopted from since you surely wouldn’t have bought him from a breeder!!!!’ a fan admonished.
Another said: ‘We dog lovers take it upon ourselves to spread the word about the RIGHT thing to do.’ Adopt, always!!!’
“My exact thoughts,” someone else agreed, while other fans responded.
‘Actually? Like it’s your business…fuck,” one wrote.
‘Stop being a Karen, seriously who gives a damn,’ said another follower.
‘Stop being condescending to people. There is nothing wrong with ethical breeders,” wrote another of Elsa’s defenders.

The new addition to the family joins Elsa, Chris, their twin sons Tristan and Sasha, 10, and daughter India, 12.
The family lives in Byron Bay in a sprawling $30 million eight-bedroom mansion that sits on a massive 10-acre plot of land in Broken Head.
But Elsa revealed that she wasn’t always convinced about moving to Australia and that she had a very specific condition for Chris before she moved.
Elsa, originally from Madrid, admitted she told Chris she would only move to Australia if they lived on a sprawling farm where she could keep horses.
“That was my deal with Chris,” he told the courier mail.
“I said I was moving to Australia, but I wanted to live on property, a farm and have horses, and he knew that.”
Elsa also gave candid insight into her relationship with Chris and shared her secret to a happy marriage despite facing many challenges over the years.
“I think we all have this idea of this beautiful dream of a marriage and loving each other and everything being perfect, but it’s a lot more work than you think,” she said.

‘It comes with a lot of challenges, but it’s beautiful to grow in those challenges and learn from each other and how we change over the years and how we adapt to each other.
“From the outside you may think that a marriage is perfect, but everyone has their own things and everyone needs a lot of work.”
Elsa and Chris will celebrate 14 years of marriage on December 22, although she confessed that they rarely remember their anniversary.
Although it may seem like a misstep in the relationship, Elsa insisted that the date is easily forgotten because it is so close to Christmas and said that they laugh about it every year.
Excited for her husband, Elsa also admitted that she has always wanted a ‘lifelong partner’ and said she wants to grow old with Thor actor Chris.
Elsa and Chris married in a spontaneous ceremony while on vacation in Australia in December 2010, just three months after going public with their relationship and ten months after meeting each other for the first time.
They moved to Byron Bay five years later, after purchasing their forever home in the coastal paradise for $7.6 million.
