Chocolate lovers have been left stunned after a Cadbury fan revealed a hidden detail in the Roses selection boxes that had gone unnoticed for years.

Despite many consuming multiple jars of the sweet treat every Christmas, dozens of fans recently discovered a subtle link between the Cadbury logo and the signature red rose on the pack.

On July 9, British meme account @NoContextBrits took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the shocking revelation.

He mail features a photo of the cover of a Rose, along with the caption: “I had a birthday today.”

In the image, the fan surrounded the capital “C” in the purple Cadbury logo and highlighted the center of the rose located in the center of the lid.

Looking closer, you can see the same “C” printed in bright red in the center of the rose, surrounded by a shaded outline that accents the letter.

This hidden detail, cleverly incorporated into the design, had gone virtually unnoticed until now.

The reveal has since gone viral, garnering more than 6,000 likes and dozens of comments from baffled fans.

One person said: “Well that’s news to me,” while another wrote: “It blew my mind.”

A third commented: “Ohhh yeah… I’ll be looking out for that now,” while another added: “Haha! I never noticed that before!”

Another stunned fan wrote: “I didn’t know this either,” while one chocolate lover announced: “My life is so much better now that I know this. I feel like all my problems have disappeared.”

This comes after chocolate lovers discovered why Cadbury’s packaging is purple – and were left speechless.

For over 100 years, Cadbury chocolate has been wrapped in a distinctive purple wrapper that sets it apart from its competitors.

The confectionery giant has used the colour since 1914, when it was introduced as a tribute to Queen Victoria.

In February 1854, the monarch granted Cadbury a Royal Warrant, making the company the official manufacturer of cocoa and chocolate to the monarch.

The entire Dairy Milk range went purple and gold in 1920.

Among her Victorian-era advertisements is one showing Victoria drinking Cadbury’s cocoa while sitting on a train.

The company first introduced purple (her favorite color) in 1914 as a tribute to her and has identified its products on the shelves of confectioneries ever since.
