Yogurt retailer Chobani has removed the company’s oat yogurts from supermarket shelves, much to the surprise of shoppers.

Customers noticed the range of products had disappeared from stores, leading to speculation about what happened.

Chobani confirmed that the product had been discarded.

“Like all of our Chobani products, our oat yogurt was delicious and nutritious, but unfortunately it was not one of the most popular,” the spokesperson said. 7 news.

Dozens of users took to social media to share their disappointment over the decision to recall the product.

‘This is so sad. “It’s the only vegan yogurt I like,” said one shopper.

“I’m very disappointed,” wrote another.

“I used to buy them regularly and now there is nothing that compares.”

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Chobani for further comment.

The yogurt offered shoppers a dairy- and lactose-free alternative to Chobani’s yogurt range.

The oat yogurts were also removed from the company’s website.

The company was founded by CEO Hamdi Ulukaya in the US in 2005 before the business opened in Australia in 2011.
