Olivia Newton-John’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi has been awkwardly picked up by Facetuning a photo of herself from 15 years ago.
The actress, 35, discovered the image on a stock photo website and then airbrushed herself beyond recognition before sharing the photo on Instagram on Tuesday.
Daily Mail Australia has discovered the original photo, taken in Australia in March 2006, and the differences between the two images are quite remarkable.
Oh no! Chloe Lattanzi (pictured with her boyfriend Andy Mackinnon) has been awkwardly picked up by Photoshopping a photo of herself from 15 years ago. Left: the original photo, taken in March 2006, and right: the heavily edited version that Chloe posted to Instagram on Tuesday
‘Wow old school photo from Australia I think! I want to go blonde again! she captioned the photo, which was taken when she was 20.
The original image shows Chloe with a naturally pale skin tone and darker blonde hair, but in the edited version, she has brown, lighter hair and digitally applied makeup.
Chloe’s fans couldn’t help but ridicule the questionable montage – in particular, the blinding white teeth she gave herself and her boyfriend Andy Mackinnon.
“Teeth so white they might glow in the dark,” one Instagram follower wrote, while another joked, “Satan and Colgate owned both of you?”
Chloe took the jokes in her stride, however, and to the comment about her luminous teeth replied, “I know, right! Spooky.’
Andy also barely recognized himself in the edited photo and said, “That’s me standing next to you!”
“Boy, those teeth are white!” Chloe’s fans couldn’t help but laugh at the questionable montage – in particular, the blinding white teeth she gave herself and her boyfriend Andy Mackinnon
Still Friends: Andy barely recognized himself in the edited photo either, saying, “That’s me standing next to you!”
Chloe has admitted to doing her Instagram posts on Photoshopping in the past.
Her habit of digitally “ updating ” her photos on social media seems to be related to the body image issues she faced as a teenager.
After being sued for a Photoshop failure in 2016, she admitted to fans, ‘I thought I looked fat, so I photoshopped myself a little thinner.
Got caught! In 2016, Chloe was sued for using Photoshop to make herself look thinner. Her montage was evident because of the visibly warped wall next to her
‘Here I am, flaws and everything’: At the time, she said it was a good thing to be held accountable by her social media followers because it led her to reassess her obsession with being ‘perfect’
“Then someone called me, and I’m glad they did.”
Thank whoever you were for calling me on my bulls ** t. I have to remember [I’m] will never be perfect. ‘
Despite this, her habit of editing her selfies heavily has seriously continued.
In 2018, she even forgot to remove the watermark from the B612 photo editing app she used for one of her bikini uploads
