Chloe Ferry has revealed that she has had a ‘major depression’ for over two years as a result of the pressures of living in the public eye.
The reality star, 26, discussed how ‘being constantly judged’ and receiving hatred from trolls online left her ‘just wanting to get into a ball’.
Ahead of the Geordie Shore Ten Years on The Toon show, the star opened the toll that was famous for her mental health that she now wants to distance herself from TV work.

She said, “I had a really bad depression about two and a half years ago that no one knew about. I was in Las Vegas and I didn’t even want to leave my room.
‘I don’t think people realize how difficult it is and how much pressure it is in the public eye, constantly being judged and all those thousands of comments.
‘What baffles me is how it is still going on. You have to have such thick skin to be in this industry. ‘
She added, ‘Why my depression started was because I got so much hate online. You have people who call you ‘fat, ugly and a shame’ so I hate it when I think everyone is looking at me and judging me.

“That’s where mine started – just wanted to get into a ball.”
Chloe also said she is considering moving away from TV in the spotlight after so many years to focus on other business ventures.
She said, ‘I think I’ll only do one more series of Geordie Shore, I want to be honest about getting away from the TV. I want to expand my salons and things like that.
‘I’m so different now from when I first was on TV. I want to focus on the business side of things for now. Ultimately, I want to live somewhere on a farm on an island.

‘You have to be fat enough to see reality. When I first started on the show I thought I wasn’t good enough. I was too scared to do things because I was like ‘yeah I’m a failure’ but now I think if I want something, I’m gonna get it. ‘
Chloe spoke alongside her co-star Nathan Henry, 28, ahead of the new show, who also admitted that he was struggling with his mental health being in the spotlight.
Nathan added: ‘Before I went on TV I went on a night out with my friends and got drunk and on the taxi ride I would never get anxious but since I went on TV I can’t remember the last time i went on a night out where i have had no fear.

“I didn’t even know what fear was, but it’s one of those things I had to learn to deal with.”
Chloe joined the raw MTV show alongside Nathan in 2015 and briefly quit the series in 2019 after splitting from on / off boyfriend and cast member Sam Gowland.
It comes after Chloe revealed last week that she is dating someone new after months of rumors about her close friendship with Wayne Lineker.
Chloe, who appeared to be referring to her newfound romance in a recent photo caption, wrote, “He calls me purr big.”

In a new interview, Chloe recently said that while she and Wayne are just “ good friends, ” her mysterious treasure has been awarded the seal of approval by her family.
Chloe told Heat Magazine: “Wayne and I are just really, really good friends. But I am currently seeing someone. ‘
She added, “My whole family loves Wayne … My 80-year-old aunt tried to date him!”
While Chloe kept his lips tight on details of her new boyfriend’s identity, she did reveal that he already had her family’s seal of approval.
