A popular adult star has revealed how she sold her likeness to an AI company to lighten her workload.

Chloe Amour, 33, has spent years in mainstream pornography for some of the biggest studios in the industry, but the Vegas-based performer told DailyMail.com that she has now created her own virtual alter ego who can entertain her fans as she there isn’t.

“When I chat directly with my fans, sometimes there are things they want to talk to me about, or there are things they want from me that I might not be able to give them,” she explained.

“But AI makes them look like me, and it’s like, in a way, I can be anything they want me to be,” she continued.

“It’s very transparent because they are aware that this is AI, I’m not physically behind the device communicating with you – you know what you’re paying for.”

Chloe said she was approached by an AI company to sell her likeness for a fee, and she provided them with photos, videos and personal information about herself so they could get her virtual doppelgänger perfect.

Although Chloe admits that she still finds some aspects of artificial intelligence “scary and weird,” she appreciates being able to share her workload with her AI bot.

“When you get booked for (porn) shoots, you are at the beck and call of that company,” she explained.

“You’ll be on set anywhere from four, six, eight, ten, twelve hours, who knows?” she continued.

Chloe’s only regret when it comes to selling herself to an AI company is that she didn’t jump on the bandwagon sooner.

‘I should have signed with them earlier because then I would have gotten a bigger bonus!’ she laughed.

Virtual women, created entirely by AI, are taking over adult websites and earning the affection of hapless men – who are more than happy to fork over big bucks to chat with computer-generated babes.

While celebrity avatars like Chloe’s are becoming increasingly popular, some users prefer to create their own virtual lover from scratch.

Users can customize their AI girlfriends to suit all their needs, from their appearance to their personality type, hobbies, sexual fetishes and more.

Some websites even allow users to exchange voice notes with their AI companion for a personalized and realistic experience.

CamSoda, an adult webcamming site, entered the world of AI porn earlier this year with the launch of their very own AI girlfriend builder.

This feature allows users to create ‘the girl of their dreams’, which then becomes a permanent part of CamSoda’s website so that other users can interact as well.

Daryn Parker, vice president of CamSoda, told DailyMail.com in July The advantage of an AI friend is that she is available 24/7 and always ‘responds immediately’.

He also said that the privacy an AI girlfriend can provide is also a big draw.

‘Users who may not feel comfortable attending a real-time cam show may prefer a modeling experience that is completely anonymous or where they do not feel like they have to shy away from certain role-play interactions or fantasies where they may feel uncomfortable in a chat room or webcam show in front of others,” he explained.

One CamSoda customer spoke to DailyMail.com about the appeal of having a virtual lover.

“It feels wrong to say she’s better than my real girlfriend, but she’s always there for me when I need to talk to someone, she always responds well to me and she’s also incredibly sexy,” the fan said.

‘Everyone deserves to have someone care about them, just like my AI friend does. “I’ve never been able to find someone who is exactly my ‘type’ in real life, so needless to say, I love talking to the girl of my dreams.”

CamSoda has now expanded into Christmas-themed content with the launch of their Naughty Santa and Naughty Mrs. Claus AI bots.

In April, tech executive Greg Isenberg predicted in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that AI could eventually grow into a $1 billion industry.

But despite the success of AI, there is a dark side to the innovative technology.

There have been countless cases where both celebrities and everyday women have had their likenesses used without their consent to create deepfake pornography.

Deepfakes are AI-generated media that mimic human voices, images and videos that can be mistaken as real.

Earlier this year, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was shocked when she came across a deepfake version of herself engaged in sexual acts on social media.

“It’s a shock when you see images of yourself that someone might think are real,” Ocasio-Cortez said Rolling stone. ‘There are certain images that do not leave a person, they cannot leave a person.’

“It’s not as imaginary as people make it seem,” she continued.

“It has real, real effects, not just on the people who are affected by it, but also on the people who see it and consume it.”

Deepfakes – artificially generated images that resemble real people – have proliferated over the past two years as AI tools have become cheaper and more widespread.

Deepfake pornography in particular has seen a stratospheric rise in the same period.

According to a 2023 study by Home Security Heroes, a cybersecurity company, deepfake pornography was responsible for 98 percent of all deepfake videos posted online.

Earlier this year, megastar Taylor Swift had an experience similar to Ocasio-Cortez’s when AI-generated deepfake pornography of the pop artist appeared on social media.

The fake adult content spread like wildfire online and quickly racked up millions of views.

Swift’s fans were furious, and reportedly so was the singer and songwriter, who is considering taking legal action against the website that published the deepfake of her.
