New footage has emerged showing the Sydney Prowler stalking through a building during a terrifying crime spree.
The hunt continues for a man who robbed and assaulted several women over several hours in Sydney’s west on Wednesday amid police fears he may strike again.
New South Wales Police have released new footage showing the man’s face during his crime spree as he wandered around a building, checking for unlocked doors in a hallway.
He opened a door apparently using his sleeve to make sure there were no fingerprints left on the handle.
He then left the building and ran across the street.
Police were called by several members of the public about a man trespassing on property in the Northmead area.
The motive for the attacks has not yet been confirmed, but police believe the man is specifically targeting isolated women.
The police have She urged all women travelling on foot to stay on main roads and told anyone who approached her not to resist.

The footage shows the prowler lurking down a hallway to check for unlocked doors before fleeing through one and running down an adjacent street.
“Property can be replaced, its safety is the most important thing,” said Superintendent Barry Vincent.
The man was first caught on camera at around 4am on Wednesday robbing several properties in Northmead, near Parramatta.
An hour later, at 5.10am, the same man stole a Mitsubishi Outlander SUV while its owner, a 37-year-old woman, was buying fuel at the Windsor Road service station in nearby North Rocks.
He then used the car to attack three women, police say.
Officers say the man first attacked a 47-year-old woman from behind on nearby Mons Road at around 5.20am
She tripped while trying to escape and the attacker took her bag.
A 19-year-old woman called police at 5.40am after a figure, believed to be the same man, pulled a knife on her on Junia Avenue in Toongabbie.
After a brief struggle, he also stole her purse and drove off in the stolen truck, police say.
Police have been searching for the man after he was involved in a series of robberies and assaults in Northmead, north of Parramatta, starting at 4am on Wednesday.
New South Wales Police Superintendent Barry Vincent urged women to remain vigilant and told anyone who approached the man to do as he told them.
At approximately 5.55am, a 27-year-old woman was attacked with a hammer in North Parramatta.
“The woman handed the man her purse and cell phone… and he left the scene driving the SUV,” police said.
The woman’s family tracked her phone and found the man at a nearby house, but before they could confront him, he smashed the windshield of their car with the hammer.
One of the women’s relatives, a 27-year-old man, was attacked before the prowler escaped.
The stolen SUV was found nearby and is now being examined by a forensic expert.
Riot police and sniffer dogs are searching for the man.
“I describe this as particularly cowardly, simply targeting women walking alone, in the early hours of the morning, from behind,” Superintendent Vincent said.

The chaos resulting from the police search led to Christ the King Primary School in North Rocks being briefly locked down as officers searched nearby for the offender but were unable to locate him.
It is now feared the man may have been responsible for a series of robberies in the area last weekend, raising fears he could strike again.
The man is described as being of medium build and in his 20s. He was last seen wearing all black, including a beanie, balaclava, gloves and a Nike hoodie.
Police say people should not approach him and instead call police if they see him.
