A young motorcyclist who was killed in a horrific accident had earlier shared a video on social media of herself riding with no hands.

Perth woman Monique Roberts, 25, died after her pink Honda motorcycle crashed into a road barrier on the Tonkin Highway about 5.30pm on Friday.

Ms Roberts’ suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.

The 25-year-old had several social media pages dedicated to her motorcycle and would share photos and videos of her riding it with her thousands of followers.

Last month Ms Roberts shared a photograph of herself and her pink Honda with the caption ‘Random people: ‘You’re going to die on that thing’.’

The 25-year-old had several social media pages dedicated to his motorcycle. In one post, Ms Roberts shared a photo of her riding her motorbike with the caption: “Might do 140 past a cop later idk (I don’t know)” (pictured)

Her twin sister, Dana Roberts-Licastro, used the photo to announce her sister’s death, claiming the caption “didn’t age well”.

‘It didn’t age well…she has died in a motorcycle accident,’ her sister wrote.

Another picture showed Mrs Roberts on her bike with the caption: ‘I wanna feel wanted, may do 140 past a cop later idk (I don’t know)’.

She added: ‘I know my 250 can’t do it, but it will be fun to try.’

In another post, Ms Roberts said she wanted to start the new year with ‘the need to Mach Jesus speed’ – a slang term used to describe an object traveling at extremely high speed.

In several videos of Ms Roberts, the 25-year-old can be seen riding with one hand on the handlebars of her bike or with no hands.

One video even shows Ms Roberts making a love heart sign with her fingers to her chest as she cycles down the road.

Grieving family and friends have shared touching tributes to Mrs Roberts on social media.

‘At least you passed doing what you loved… Heaven has gained another angel,’ the friend wrote.

Jade Roberts, 27, also shared a heartfelt tribute to Mrs Roberts on Sunday, describing her as having a ‘beautiful soul’.

‘Monique was a down-to-earth, kind, quiet and beautiful soul. She was creative, vibrant, colorful and very expressive in her clothes, style, piercings and tattoos,” Ms Roberts said. West Australian.

‘She also brought a certain light to the room and charismatic energy that could make anyone smile and want to talk to her.’

Jade explained that she was in the process of arranging a photo shoot with Mrs Roberts and her motorbike.

“She loved her job, her bike and most importantly, her friends and family who are absolutely devastated to lose such a vibrant, lively soul so young,” Jade said.

Mrs. Robert’s twin sister Dana also started one GoFundMe to help with the funeral expenses.

“Our family suffered a tragic loss and my sister, only 25, had died in a motorcycle accident,” Dana wrote.

‘We are raising money for her funeral to make the process easier as we mourn this tragedy.’

Officers from the Major Crash Unit have launched an investigation to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash, has dash cam footage or mobile phone footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
