A Chilean TikToker is causing a stir after claiming that she finds it difficult to get a date.

The reason? Michelle Peint believes that her stunning beauty scares men away.

The content creator, who has more than 271,000 followers on the social media app, made headlines last month when she explained why she was having trouble finding the right man.

“I want to talk about how difficult it is for me to find a partner when I’m pretty,” she revealed in the video, titled ‘The Curse of Being Beautiful’, which has been viewed more than 19 million times.

“It’s very difficult for a man to approach me and talk to me,” Peint said, before going into details of an encounter with a man who was hesitant to engage her in conversation.

“I once dared to ask the guy, do you like me or do I catch your eye? Why didn’t you approach me? And he said this… just look at yourself and look at me. You look super unattainable. I was like what?” he said.

One small business owner shared that people often tell her that her Instagram inbox must surely be full of requests from guys lining up to ask her out and that she should “go on a date every day” because of her attractiveness.

“And literally the only person I talk to the most on WhatsApp is my mom,” Peint replied.

“And when a man approaches me, he’s usually too shy. Very, very shy or you can tell he’s nervous to talk to me,” she said. “I also get told a lot that you’re very pretty, they must tell you that very often. No!”

The end result, Peint believes, is that “beautiful women” end up with men who are “not as pretty as” they are.

Michelle Peint has the following advice for men who don't want to approach women who they think are too pretty and will reject them: 'If you see a pretty girl, you like her, she catches your attention, don't be self-conscious. Ask for her Instagram, ask for her number, write to her and she's the one who will make the decision to tell you, look, yes, let's talk or no.'

Chilean influencer and small business owner Michelle Teint discovered that her striking beauty is the reason she can’t find the right man because men don’t dare to ask her out.

“Because these types of men are the ones who dare, the ones who have more personality and the ones who are not ashamed of being themselves,” she said. “A lot of confidence, you could say, or self-esteem.”

Her solution to the “no dates” dilemma is to remind men that it’s okay to approach women who are as pretty as she is.

‘So, I want to make a call to all those guys. If you see a pretty girl, you like her, she catches your attention, don’t be ashamed,’ he advised. ‘Ask her for her Instagram, ask for her number, write to her and she’s the one who’s going to make the decision to tell you, look, yes, let’s talk or not, I’m not interested.’

“I feel like they are taking the step of, ‘I’m going to dare to write to you, and well, let’s see what happens,’” he added. “If the woman rejects you, that’s fine, you tried. But you tried. Don’t be carried away by appearances.”
