A child sneaky girl who broke into a house in the middle of the night and kidnapped a three-year-old girl claimed that the devil had let him do it.

He kept the terrified girl in his house for two days before leaving her on a show ground across the road from her house.

After a huge search, she was found by patrolling police who heard her & # 39; Mummy & # 39; call.
There was no evidence that Kane had indecently attacked the girl. According to prosecutors, they slept in the same bed, watched films and ate chocolate.
When she was found, the girl's hair seemed to be washed and brushed.
Kane, who does not know the family of the victim, pleaded guilty to child abduction and was sentenced to four and a half years in prison in Brisbane on Wednesday.
Prosecutor Mark Whitbread said that Kane had told the police that the devil had led him to the house and asked him to rob the girl.

The girl would not tell the police about her abduction because she was told not to say anything to anyone, but her mother said she was there & # 39; having fun & # 39; the court heard.
Kane was caught after his car broke down trying to flee the city before confessing the police.
He will be eligible for a conditional release in just four months on August 17, after he has been serving bars for a year.
The young girl has experienced long-term consequences, including feeling no longer safe to sleep alone.
& # 39; It was clear that it would have been an extremely frightening test for that child, but also for the family associated with that child, & # 39; said Judge Nathan Jarro.
He turned to Kane and added: & # 39; You must clearly be very ashamed of your actions. & # 39;
& # 39; Understanding that you have the right to go into someone's house and abduct one of their children and have that child in the course of two days is incomprehensible. & # 39;
The court heard that Kane was influenced by alcohol and cannabis at the time of his crime.
