Child rushed to hospital after being hit by car at Biggera Waters on the Gold Coast
A young boy has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car outside a daycare on the Gold Coast.
Emergency services rushed to the scene following an incident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle in a car park on Pine Ridge Rd in Biggera Waters shortly before 10am on Tuesday.
It appears the boy drove into the car, police said.
Queensland Ambulance confirmed the boy suffered injuries to his abdomen and legs and was taken to Gold Coast University in a serious condition.
Queensland Police officers remain at the scene of the incident while an investigation into the circumstances of the incident has been launched.
